Our GCSE geography class studied rivers on their recent fieldwork trip. The girls enthusiastically gathered primary data for analysis back in the classroom. The main focus was on how the cross profile of a river changes with distance downstream.  This involved conducting field sketches of The Ashbrooke river and collecting measurements of width, depth and velocity.
